RISK ASSESSMENT
Hardmoors 110 and 160 Risk Assessment 2023
START TIME: 17:00
The Hardmoors 160 ‘The Ring Of Steele’ Ultramarathon will start at Sutton Bank and head East along the Cleveland Way to Helmsley. Leaving Helmsley the route will continue east across the moors following the Tabular Hills Route to Scalby and the Clifftops of the Cleveland Way to pick up the Hardmoors 110 route and follow a further 100 miles of this route to the race finish at Helmsley. The Hardmoors 160 as the name suggests will be a 160 mile single stage Ultra with over 7000 metres of ascent. Competitors will have 50hrs to complete the race.
Please note: in the event of you not being able to take part, you are offered the following options:
- You may transfer your place to another runner up to 3 weeks prior to the event. This is done yourself via the SI entries system. NB: This option is only available once the race is full, therefore may not be appropriate on the longer ultras as these do not fill up and there may not be another runner who is trained up, so bear this in mind.
- You may transfer your place to the following year’s event up to 3 weeks prior to the race. Please email us to let us know if you wish this to happen
- You may only defer once and will need to pay any price increase
- You may not transfer to another race within the same year
- All entries close 3 weeks prior to the event because we need to order t shirts, medals and trophies in advance. Also, we need to give your medical information to our medical officer.
